Clean Edge System Big Boy works like C.E.S slim.
Clean Edge System Big Boy or C.E.S Big Boy has a great locking power on stretch ceilings. It has a set of two lips which means it is ½” thick. Compare to the original CES only ¼” projection. If your fabric is thicker like velvet, this track is a good solution for the job.
Always remember to check that you have a minimum of half inch deep molding. Otherwise, your fabric will not stay in place. Like all the tracks on the website, this one is 94″ in length. This mean there is less waist and your job will go faster.
- For fixing this track to the wall, we recommend using narrow crown staples. Minimum ¾” long.
Regarding the installation method, please refer to the page of the wall upholstery track system, CES slim. Big Boy is placed around the perimeter of a room like CES track. Check out the mock-up.
- For stretching the fabric on the track, proceed the same way as for the CES track. The fabric is also installed using a metal spatula. When looking at the spatula section, remember to check Upholstery tool Kit. So, all the hand tools are good to use on the Big Boy.
- Last product is the wall padding, our company has a thick batting to stretch on the wall. If you wish to use two layers, you can do so. The total of double layer is half inch in thick.
